AUSTIN NEIGHBORHOODS
CLARKSVILLE
Welcome to Clarksville: For Walkability, History, and Character
Buyers fall for Clarksville when they want a neighborhood that is both deeply rooted in history and brimming with modern energy. Just west of downtown, it is a place where historic bungalows sit beside art galleries, where brunch spots and wine bars are just steps away, and where you are as likely to see a neighbor walking their dog as you are to spot a street mural in progress. Living here means trading traffic for strolls and finding that sweet spot where community, culture, and convenience meet.

Why people love it
“We walk everywhere! To dinner, the grocery store, the park. It feels like a small town with the city at our doorstep.” Tara D.
Jacquelyn’s Favorite Spot
Josephine House. Jacquelyn loves their lemon ricotta pancakes for brunch or a glass of rosé at the marble bar in the afternoon.
Johnathan’s Favorite Spot
Clark’s Oyster Bar. Johnathan is a sucker for seafood, and they have some of the best. The seafood tower with an ice cold dirty martini is heaven.
